The Speech Language Learning Center, Inc. is searching
for part-time and full-time speech and language therapists for the
2009-2010 school year! We are a private practice in Genesee County
with opportunities in Genesee and Oakland Counties! We are dedicated
to providing charter schools with qualified speech and language
therapy services. Flexible hours and schedules, and continual

CONTRACT SCHOOL SPEECH & LANGUAGE THERAPISTS
-2 days per week approximately 15-20 hours
-3-5 days per week approximately 30-40 hours
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Valid credentials, ASHA certification and experience a must!
2. Candidate must have a solid understanding of language assessment
and treatment for grades Preschool through grade 8
3. Must possess an awareness of cultural issues with respect to
assessment.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITY:
1. Screening for possible speech and language delay
2. Provide speech and language testing to appropriate students
3. Provide speech and language therapy
4. Work cooperatively with all staff members
5. Knowledge of IEP process
